![]() If I could have my files just stored on the My Cloud Home drive that would be easier, but then they wouldn’t be stored in two different locations. I understand that I am treating the Sync as a backup and that this isn’t a true backup. The unselected folder is indeed hidden from File Explorer, even when I try to browse to it under 'This PC' rather than. Basically I would want my files to be accessible like the files in the public folder on the My Cloud drive. OneDrive Settings -> Account -> Choose folders would allow me to de-select a folder from OneDrive, but 'Unselected folders will be hidden from File Explorer' as noted in the OneDrive 'Choose folders' dialog box shown below. Ultimately what I am trying to achieve is to have my Windows 10 desktop files, personal files backed up to the My Cloud Home external drive, but also having those files accessible on other computers. Instead of copying every file every time, FreeFileSync determines the differences between a source and a target folder and transfers only the minimum amount of data needed. That way, your files are always up to date and can be accessed from any device. FreeFileSync is a folder comparison and synchronization software that creates and manages backup copies of all your important files. If you edit, delete, or move a file on the Cloud, the same change happens on your computer and devices, and vice versa. ![]() ![]() Is there a way for me to see that Sync folder on a remote Windows 10 laptop without installing the WD My Cloud desktop/discovery application or using the account that I have setup? Use Drive for desktop to find your Drive files and folders on your computer with Windows File Explorer or macOS Finder. I have a folder on that desktop that I sync to my external My Cloud Home drive. I recently purchased a WD My Cloud Home external drive (model: WDBVXC0020HWT-NESN) and I have the My Cloud Desktop v 2.1.0.209 and WD Discovery v 3.2.256 running on my Windows 10 desktop. ![]()
